Dear Kindle Readers,
If you bought the Kindle edition of "Holy Laughter! Humor in the Bible" (ISBN: 978-1-4392-8194-9), you probably felt dismayed when the answers in the back of the book for the Crosscheck Cookie Game said this:
What about “The Crosscheck Cookie (or Bun or Carrot) Game”? -- At least seven! Pages 119, 125, 130, 149, 152, 167, and 198. If you really really like cookies (or buns or carrots); and seven’s not enough, you could include pages 8, 153, and 173.
Since there aren't page numbers in the Kindle edition, that makes no sense. So here are The Crosscheck Cookie Game Answers for the Kindle Edition:
What about “The Crosscheck Cookie (or Bun or Carrot) Game”? -- At least seven! Cross-stitched, cross-referenced, cross training, cross-purposes, crossfire, cross examination, and cross words. If you really really like cookies (or buns or carrots); and seven’s not enough, you could include crosscheck, cross buns, cross-eyed, and “Salvation Was Won at the Cross, So Stop Whining; and Don’t Forget to Floss”.
When Jesus carried lumber for Joseph,
He was cross training.
When fighting temptation,
When you fan the flames of faith,
you can catch Satan in the crossfire.
What’s the best way to look at your soul?
… Cross examination.
It’s no puzzle!
Whether you bought the Kindle edition or the paperback edition, thank you! That means a lot to me.
Blessings & Joy,
Dean

How did Mary make the Messiah’s sash?
… She cross-stitched.
